Refund and Returns Policy

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for whatever reason, you may return it to Urban Babies & Kids within 7 working days of receipt (excluding shipping and handling charges). You will receive a refund for the cost of the item within 7 working days from the arrival of the goods at Urban Babies & Kids premises.

Products will not be eligible for return if they have been partially or entirely disassembled, physically altered, permanently installed, affixed, attached, joined or added to, blended or combined with, or embedded within, other goods or property.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.


Please note that items arriving after the 7-working day return deadline may not be accepted and can be returned to sender.

Should your order arrive with obvious shipping damage, please contact us immediately and send us a photo, if possible.

Report damaged, incorrect or missing items to us by e-mail or by phone within 24 hours of receipt of delivery.


As a rule, refunds are offered via EFT payment and take up to 7 working days to process. Once processed, EFT refunds will take 2-3 working days to reflect in your account. (Excluding shipping and handling charges)


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at

Due to the import nature of the business, we cannot guarantee that replacements can be made (stock dependent). Where we are unable to provide a replacement, you can either select a refund for the value of the item, or a credit to be placed on your account equivalent to the value of the returned item.
